Kim Hovell has been painting and selling her original artwork for 15+ years. This means there are plenty of opportunities to view her work out in the world. We have accumulated a list of where to find her artwork inside and outside her hometown of Annapolis.

Lululemon - Annapolis, MD

Kim Hovell’s iconic oyster cluster hangs behind Lululemon’s checkout counter. The bright white shells on a deep blue background are hard to miss as you walk past the storefront inside the Annapolis Mall. Prints similar to this original include Sea Jewels, Vibrant Shells and Atlantic Summer

The Urban Oyster - Baltimore, MD

Located on the avenue in Hampden, The Urban Oyster is America’s 1st Black Woman-Owned Oyster Bar. Kim painted Tranquil Sea when their 36th street location opened in 2024, but has been an art partner for past locations as well.

Neptune's Escape Charter Yacht - Caribbean

Kim designed pillow cases, table runners and blankets for Neptune's Escape, an all-inclusive high end charter yacht. The calming views of the Caribbean make for the perfect backdrop to Kim’s expressive oysters.

Sea Salt - Annapolis, MD

When approached by Sea Salt to create an original piece for their new Park Place restaurant, Kim accepted and painted something outside of her comfort zone. Appropriately titled Seasalt, this piece is set apart from the rest with bright yellow strokes against red, green and blue oyster shells.

Libbey’s - Stevensville, MD

Painted in 2022, Upstream is the focal point over the fireplace at Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen. Kim created this custom piece to match the calming views that the Chesapeake Bay offers while dining at Libbey’s.

Finolhu, a Seaside Collection Resort - Maldives

The two bedroom rockstar villa is home to a trio of Kim’s prints including Currents, Coastal Oysters, and Fossil I. This slice of paradise in the Maldives features hot pink upholstery and aqua tiling that complement Kim’s artwork with expertise.

All artworks mentioned in this post are available for purchase in a range of sizes, paper and canvas, through kimhovell.com
